Random Natural Stone Mosaic
Irregular stone pieces hand-set on mesh with an unrepeating joint pattern — the most organic of the mosaic formats and the one that hides substrate movement best.
View ProductStone split along its natural fracture rather than sawn, leaving a raised irregular face that throws deep shadow across the wall.
Split face mosaic is produced by fracturing the stone along its natural cleavage rather than sawing it. The result is an irregular raised face with genuine depth — normally 10 to 25 mm of relief — that changes appearance completely as the sun moves across it.
It is the pattern to specify when a facade needs to be visually active in strong directional light: entry walls, hotel elevations, feature columns. In flat diffuse light the effect is much quieter, so consider the orientation before specifying it on a north elevation.
Because the face is irregular, this pattern should not be used where anything will be mounted flat against the wall or where people brush past in a narrow circulation route.

10–25 mm on the standard panel and up to 50 mm on the deep-relief version. Because it is a natural fracture the depth varies within a panel — that variation is the point of the product.
Yes on feature walls with adequate lighting design. Avoid it in tight circulation routes where clothing can catch on the projecting stone.
