Herringbone Stone Mosaic
Rectangular stone bars set at 90° in a classic herringbone, mesh-mounted so the pattern lands accurately without site setting-out.
Product Overview
Herringbone is difficult to set accurately on site and easy to get subtly wrong — a two-degree drift across a large floor is visible. Mesh-mounting solves it: the pattern is assembled against a jig in the factory and the installer works to a straight panel edge.
Standard bar proportions are 1:2 and 1:3, most commonly 15 × 30 mm and 25 × 50 mm. Both single and double herringbone layouts are produced.
The pattern reads formally in honed marble and limestone, and considerably more contemporary in andesite. In Sukabumi green it is a frequent specification for spa and wet-room walls.
